Junior Outreach Training Course
Are you a 14 or 15 year old (by 30th June) Christian who wants to serve God among children?
Then why not think about coming to the Junior Summer Outreach Training Course.
It will give you some idea of how you can be involved in bringing the Gospel to children.
When is it?
In the Republic of Ireland: 26th – 30th June 2010 in Oceanview Camp Centre, Rossnowlagh.
Northern Ireland: 4th – 7th July 2010 in Kilkeel Presbyterian Church halls.
How much does it cost?
In the Republic of Ireland €55
In Northern Ireland £40
A sponsorship of £10 may be available for those who help in CEF’s summer outreach programme.
What’s involved?
Days are filled with classes, practical demonstrations, and prayer, study and praise times. But there’s some free time as well to relax in!
Subjects covered include:
- What is a 5-Day Club?
- Can a memory verse be exciting?
- Witnessing with the Wordless Book.
To complete the course you have to do some practicals which include using the Wordless Book with children and teaching a memory verse or leading a quiz. You will find the experience really useful for your future work with children.
