Camps

campEach year CEF of Ireland runs over 60 weekend and week-long camps. Obviously a large number of leaders, or “counsellors” are needed to look after the children and young people.

Camp is brilliant! As well as having the privilege of spending a full week with the children or young people and influencing them for God, camp is a really fun time and a great experience.

To be a camp counsellor you need to be eighteen years old or over. You will also need to be cleared through CEF’s detailed Child Protection procedure. Duties will include supervising in a dormitory situation, helping with practical tasks such as washing dishes, helping organise games and other activities, conducting group discussions with the children or young people and possibly some teaching duties.

You can expect a very busy but extremely rewarding week!
